On Ethics. A compulsory course for the first semester Bachelor students of the mechanical engineering at TUM in 2024/2025

Abstract:
In my presentation, I will introduce the course on ethics, which I delivered together with my colleague from Mechanical Engineering for the first time in Winterterm 2024/2025 at Technical University of Munich. It is a three-hour compulsory course for the first semester Bachelor students of the mechanical engineering program, which was attended by more than 500 students. I'll describe the didactic structure of the course, the main content, the progression of the course and the coursework to be completed. I will also discuss what feedback was given to us lecturers by the students and the TUM School of Engineering and Design.
